The honest answer: the price difference is surprisingly small – and considering what you get for it, it is a very fair investment.

The difference is usually only a few hundred CZK for a product that:

• Fits your dog exactly
• Fits perfectly into your car trunk or specific space
• Is made in the colour and material of your choice
• Can be personalized with embroidery

It is similar with orthopedic mattresses – the surcharge for a non-standard size is minimal compared to the value you receive.

In addition: a high-quality product made exactly to measure lasts significantly longer than a cheaper compromise that “almost fits”. From a long-term perspective, custom production is very often the more economical choice – you are not buying something you will throw away after a year because it stopped working or because the size turned out not to be ideal.

Dimensions

We manufacture products in any size – transport boxes as well as orthopedic mattresses. Do you have a dog of an unusual size, a specific car trunk dimension, or simply need something you cannot find elsewhere? Just tell us the dimensions and we will make it.

Choose from extensive material sample collections available directly on our website:

• Oxford 600D – durable, easy to clean, great for travelling
• Eco leather – elegant, representative and easy to maintain
• Velour – soft, pleasant to the touch, popular for beds and mattresses
• Rubber – non-slip, water-resistant, ideal as a bottom layer

Embroidered personalization

Add your pet’s name, the name of your kennel or your own design. Your product will be truly unique – and no one will miss it at a show.

For senior dogs and dogs with mobility problems, one rule applies: the higher the foam, the better the support.

We recommend the following approximate heights depending on the dog’s weight and condition:

Why does height matter? Thin foam, for example 3 cm, can compress under a heavier or older dog during long-term use to the point where it stops fulfilling its orthopedic function. Thicker foam, such as 10 cm, retains its supportive properties much longer and provides significantly better pressure relief for painful joints.

For dogs after orthopedic surgery, with diagnosed arthritis, hip dysplasia or other orthopedic problems, we always recommend at least 10 cm of memory foam.

The difference is fundamental – and your dog will feel it the most, not you.

Regular pet beds from pet stores are usually filled with hollow fibre, shredded foam or cheap foam. After a short period of use, these materials flatten, stop providing any real support and the dog effectively ends up lying on a hard surface with only a thin layer of fabric. In addition, shredded foam shifts to the edges, creates uneven pressure points and loses its shape very quickly.

Our orthopedic mattresses are made from solid memory foam slabs – no shredded foam, no leftover pieces, no compromises. Memory foam reacts to body heat and pressure, adapts precisely to the dog’s body shape, distributes its weight evenly and eliminates pressure points on the joints, hips and spine. This effect lasts throughout the entire life of the mattress – not just for the first three weeks.

Specific advantages compared to a regular pet bed:

Custom production usually takes up to 10 working days from order confirmation and clarification of all details such as dimensions, colour, material and any personalisation.

How the whole process works:

1. You contact us – by phone or e-mail and tell us what you need
2. We clarify the details – dimensions, material, colour and any embroidery
3. We confirm the order and delivery date – we will always inform you about the exact dispatch date
4. We produce and dispatch your order – within 10 working days, your custom order is on its way to you

In the case of more complex or larger orders, such as larger batches for kennels or specific combinations of materials, we will always inform you in advance if the production time may be longer.
